This is an extra thick and warm Afghan by Dora Renee Wilkerson. It was knit on an “S” Loom which means it was done with 2 loops over 2 – or double thick. Dora says ” If I was to do it all over again, I’d do it 1 over 1 and 2 feet longer. I do like it, and boy, it’s warm! It will be great for those cold nights.”
Yarn used was Pebbles yarn, about 53 skeins. It looks like a great pattern for the 28″ knitting board.
Now Dora is working on some camp shorts for her son. He’s in the photo on the sofa.
Thanks for sharing. Now we’ll have to wait to see the shorts.
