HI, We have been really busy!
HSN was a great time for us, and going to Florida gives me an opportunity to visit my family. We just celebrated the birth of my second granddaughter in 14 months. So now we have Jaedyn who is 14 months old and her new sister, Madison, was born on Oct 6, 09. They are both beautiful, but that’s coming from a proud grandma.
Thanks for everyone that watched the HSN shows and cheered us on.
Also, Jo-Ann’s super stores (200 of them) will be having a live in-store demo of the knitting board on Saturday, Nov 7. If you live near one of these super stores, be sure to check it out. Take your knitting board and join the fun of sharing all that you now know.
The holidays are coming up quickly. What are you all knitting? I’m excited about some of the great holiday yarns that are out. I’m currently working with the holiday Homespun from Lion Brand-a scarf with some snowflakes on it. I’ll post it once I have it complete.
We are also once again doing a drive for women awareness. If you want to make some hats or scarves and send them in, we will get them out to needy women and children. We still love to send warm items to our military for the winter. Let me know if you can help.
Watch for some new patterns coming to Free Pattern Library in November.

You asked what we were making for the holidays- I am making lapghans for my 3 bosses at work. All on the loom. I am making one with dk. violet/violet and violet/cream dbl stranded in 15 rows each in 30 row blocks. I am also making on the loom a yellow and blue one in squares and edged in yellow(crocheted edge). sew them together and border with yellow. The 3rd one on the loom is in bright colors of yellow, lime green med. blue and dbl stranded with white. It is bordered in white. I love my loom and look foward to making so much more on them.
