MATERIALS
LOOM: Flexee Loom Skinny, 20 links (40 pegs).
YARN: Approx 120 yds (60 yds of each color) of worsted weight Merino Wool. Sample created with Red Heart Chic Sheep Marly Bird (3.5 oz/100 g; 186 yds/ 170 m) in colors Mai Tai (MC), and Mimosa (CC).
NOTIONS: Tapestry needle, knitting tool, scissors, two double-pointed needles size 4 (3.5mm).
GAUGE: 17 sts x 11 rows=2 inches on Flexee Links Skinny.
SIZE: Instructions as provided fits a size 7.5 US Women. To make the foot smaller/larger, repeat the striping sequence.

NOTES:
The sock is created with horizontal stripes; changing yarns every 5 rounds. The yarn is carried up for all the color changes, do not cut the yarn (unless you desire to cut the yarn to hide the ends).
INSTRUCTIONS
(Make 2)
Connect 20 Flexee links into a circle configuration (40 pegs). Place a stitch marker on first peg to mark peg 1.
With MC, cast on 40 sts, join to work in the round
Rnd 1: k to end of rnd.
Rnd 2-6: *k2, p2; rep from * to end of rnd.
Join CC (do not cut MC). Continue with CC.
Rnd 7: k to the end of rnd.
HEEL
Work heel on first 20 pegs as instructed on HEEL/TOE instructions below.
SOLE
Rnds 8-11: (with CC) k to end of rnd.
On the first round after the heel (Rnd 8), turn at peg 1, then knit to the end of the rnd, treating the loops on peg 20 as one (lift both of the loops up as one loop). On the following rnd (Rnd 9), treat both loops on peg 1 as one (lift both of the loops as one loop).
**PU MC, and drop CC.
Rnds 12-16: k to end of rnd.
PU CC, and drop MC.
Rnds 17-21: k to end of rnd. **
Repeat from ** to **: 4 times (or 2.5 inches less than desired length).
PU MC, and drop CC.
Rep Rnds 12 -16.
Cut MC leaving a 6-inch yarn tail.
Next rnd: with CC, k to end of rnd.
TOE
Create the toe in the exact same manner as used for the heel. (Refer to HEEL/TOE instructions at the end of pattern for specific details.)
FINISHING
Keeping all stitches from twisting, place the first 20 stitches onto a double-pointed needle. Place the remaining 20 stitches onto the second double-pointed needle.
Seam the stitches using the Kitchener Stitch. Weave in all ends. Block lightly.
