LOOM:  Flexee Loom Links Chunky (16 links, 32 pegs)

YARN:  Approx. 36 yards of Bulky weight yarn. KnitPicks Biggo Yarn in Sapphire Heather was used in sample.

NOTIONS:  knitting tool, tapestry needle

GAUGE: 14 sts x 18 rows = 4”

INSTRUCTION

Assemble Flexee Loom Links with 14 links of main color, and 2 links of secondary color. Join the Flexee Loom to work in the round. The 2 links indicate the cable stitch.

Cast on 32 stitches, join to work in the round.

Rounds 1-4: *k4, p4: rep from * to end of rnd.

Round 5: k4, p4, c4f, p4, *k4, p4; rep from * to end of rnd.

Round 6: *k4, p4: rep from * to end of rnd.

Repeat Rounds 1-6 until hat measures approximately 6 inches from cast on edge. End on a Round 6.

Next round (decrease round): *k2, k2tog; p2, p2tog; rep from * to end of rnd. (24 stitches remain)

Next round (decrease round): *k1, k2tog, p1, p2tog; rep from * to end of rnd. (16 stitches remain)

Next round (decrease round): *k2tog, p2tog; rep from * to end of rnd. (8 stitches remain)

Remove with Gather Bind Off method. Weave in all ends.

  1. I love my two sets of fine-gauge Flexee looms. I’ve enjoyed making many creations and invented some things I’d been dreaming to try and failed on fixed looms. With all of that time spent, I just noticed the links are numbered. Why?
