LOOM: Sock Loom 2
YARN: Approx 100 grams/3.5oz of worsted weight yarn. Sample used Red Heart Chic Sheep 100 grams/3.5oz;186yds/170m; colorways Suite (blue sample) and Polo (green sample).
NOTIONS: Tapestry needle, row counter (optional), stitch markers (optional), double pointed needles to hold the stitches for closing the toe
GAUGE: 9.5 sts x 15 rows= 2″ in stockinette

K=knit stitch (not the ewrap)
P=purl stitch

k2tog=knit two stitches together, a right slanting decrease
ssk=slip, slip, knit two stitches together, a left slanting decrease

NOTES: Two sizes are provided, children (adult women). When only one set of instructions is provided, use for both sizes. Sample shows 2 sizes: children and adult women size 7.5

Set the Sock Loom 2 to 32 (40 pegs).
Leg
Cast on 32 (40) sts, prepare to work in the rnd.
Rnds 1-8: *k2, p2; rep from * to end of rnd.
Rnd 9: *k2tog, yo, p2; rep from * to end of rnd.
Rnd 10: *k2, p2; rep from * to end of rnd.
Rnd 11: *yo, ssk, p2; rep from * to end of rnd.
Rnd 12: *k2, p2; rep from * to end of rnd.
Rnd 13: *k2tog, yo, p2; rep from * to end of rnd.
Rnd 14: *k2, p2; rep from * to end of rnd.
Rnd 15: *yo, ssk, p2; rep from * to end of rnd.
Rnd 16-26: *k2, p2; rep from * to end of rnd.
Rep Rnds 9-26.
Heel
Follow instructions for desired size sock.
Sole and Instep
Continue working in the rnd in stockinette stitch (knit every stitch) until the sock measures 2 inches less than the desired length.
Toe
Follow instructions for Heel
Closing the toe
Keeping all sts from twisting, place the first 16 (20) sts onto a double pointed needle. Place the remaining 16 (20) sts onto another double pointed needle.

Weave all ends in. Block to set the stitches.
